- Do you mean since they wrote the book, they actually follow
- the specs?
-
- Did you see Infoworld's review of Modems last month? Awful.
- Most had trouble faxing at 14.4, and that included
- USRobotics, Hayes, Megahertz, Boca, Zoom, Practical Peripherals.
- No wonder you see so many posts about why does this not work.
- They tested only about what, 7 or so.
-
- And most did not follow the T-30 error correcting protocol
- for faxing. The best two were Hayes, but don't expect
- 14.4 faxes from them - and TDK which had the best record at 14.4
-
- They did NOT do AT&T and the Swedish Intertex, which
- by the way, the Swedish thingee, had great reviews
- elsewheres.
-
- Now, I've heard Motorola is best for the cellular phone.
-
- So would you say AT&T with their ETC (guess it's supposed
- to be a great improvement over MNP 10?) and a Motorola
- phone?
